The Observatory is a facilitated inquiry into the dynamics, relationships, patterns, tensions, and feedback loops that shape organizational behavior. Through dialogue, mapping, observation, and collective sensemaking, participants develop a deeper understanding of how the system actually functions beyond formal structures and assumptions. The outcome is not a set of recommendations but a higher-resolution view of the organization and the conditions influencing its performance, culture, and adaptability.
How it operates:
The Living Systems Observatory is a curated circle of 6-9 executives who recognize the limitations of control-based leadership and are ready to work with the deeper dynamics that shape organizational ecosystems: connection or disconnection; coherence or incoherence; flow or blockages; and trust or distrust.
This is not a mastermind,

It is a 3-6 month programme that provides a field for observation of systems by leaders capable of shaping the next era of organizational design. This is for you if you have a persistent organizational challenge you have tried to resolve already and your efforts have not yet yielded the change you need. It is part of a long-term solution. The observatory is purely about observing and learning about your system so that you can begin to operate and make decisions from a foundation of deeper insight, knowledge, and information. You will learn the language of systems.

The Living Systems Observatory is for leaders ready to step into the field of their living-systems. It is a deep dive so complex systems will take longer to map. We do not force conclusions, we work with ambiguity and clarity. Both are inherent within your system. The Observatory is the first step in the Living Systems Practice so you need to develop deeper insight than you have now and this takes time. We do not force conclusions. This is not a planning session so you will walk away with a map of your current state. A power jumping board for the next step in the process.
